Unscripted Theatre
Unscripted Theatre is a site-specific theatre embedded in the evolving cultural fabric of Songzhuang. Instead of operating as a conventional performance venue, it becomes a space for experimentation, rehearsal, and collective creation. Transforming an industrial edge into a civic ground, the project blurs the boundary between audience and performer through flexible spatial layers and porous circulation, allowing art to remain open, unfinished, and continuously produced. Architecture acts not as a container, but as an active participant in Songzhuang’s ongoing narrative.

ARCHITECTURAL FORM GENERATION PROCESS
The theatre’s initial form is defined as a rectangular mass.
The form is then adjusted to different heights according to programmatic needs.
Free-flowing, organic lines are used to generate the window openings.
